Find your platform.
GSS builds for the mission, not the market. The right platform depends on what you’re trying to accomplish and what you need to carry. Start here.
What's your mission? Each market we serve has its own requirements, vocabulary, and priorities. Find yours. — Note for designer: this section needs 6 tiles (Utilities, Surveillance, Broadcast, Production, Marine, Custom Engineering). Currently 4 tiles exist; Marine and Custom Engineering tiles need to be added.
What do you need to carry?
Payload requirements — camera size, lens range, number of sensors — drive platform selection as much as mission type. GSS model numbers tell you the ball size: a 512 uses a 12" ball, a 416 uses a 16" ball, and so on. Here’s how the lineup maps to what you need to carry.
10" ball
The most compact platform in the GSS lineup. Optimized for missions where a smaller footprint, simplified installation, and minimal weight are priorities. Standard configuration carries EO, thermal, and an integrated laser rangefinder in a single self-contained unit.
Products: GSS S410 · GSS C510
12" ball
The most agile multi-sensor platform. Light enough for cable-cams and small aircraft, capable enough for broadcast and cinema productions demanding long focal lengths. Single or dual sensor configurations.
Products: Cinema Mini 512 · Cinema Mini 512EX · Cineflex 512 · Cineflex 512EX · GSS U512 Series
16" ball
The versatile workhorse. Handles a broad range of cameras and lenses, supports multi-sensor utility inspection configurations, and deploys across virtually any vehicle type. The most widely used platform in the GSS lineup.
Products: Cinema Pro 516 · Cineflex Pro 516 · GSS U416
20" ball
Maximum payload capacity. Built for the largest cinema cameras, the longest lenses, and specialized sensor configurations that demand the most powerful motors and the most interior space. The platform of choice when there’s no substitute for capability.
Products: Cinema Pro+ 520
